Google+ have changed the sizes of their cover images - and now they are huge!
I have set this for the PDSA account, and as you can see the cover image now takes up the majority of the screen.
The profile picture has also changed, and now appears as a round image that overlays the cover photo.
Personally, I'm not a fan, I like cover images as it allows you to get convey a brand message to your fans, however I think the changes to the Google+ cover image is a little too large and makes the whole browsing experience rather unpleasantt, on my desktop it fills the whole screen.
Google+ revert back to your old ways!
